Christopher has always lived in Chicagoland and been around real estate his entire life. He started off working in the family business with his Father, a local real estate attorney. His family owned different real estate assets so he would help with basic property management tasks. He then joined Equity Office Properties as a property accountant for larger institutional office properties. He was then blessed with the opportunity to be a property manager of Sam Zell's Two North Riverside Plaza, a 550,000 sqft office and retail building in the heart of downtown Chicago. This is where Christopher really cut his teeth, learning the ins-and-outs of commercial real estate. He then became an asset manager for a large Chicagoland not-for-profit called Thresholds. Christopher went into this newly created position and helped Thresholds develop property specific and portfolio-wide strategies for their buildings. At Thresholds he had the opportunity to be part of the redevelopment team of over 200 residential units, helping create better living environments for the less fortunate. After years of thinking about going into business for himself, Christopher opened Leading Edge Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate brokerage serving investors, landlords and users of space using his CCIM and MBA in Real Estate Finance.
