With more than eighteen years in commercial construction and real estate development, Bowie Holland has been instrumental in building the Empire Holdings portfolio. Since joining Empire Holdings Real Estate in 2011, he has focused on industrial development, leading the team with a tenant-centric, operational needs based approach. He focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, and overall management of current projects. He has recently facilitated dispositions of two large blocks of properties with values exceeding $60MM, as well as the acquisition of multiple industrial land sites for spec future development and build-to-suit opportunities. Empire focuses exclusively on single tenant net leased Industrial and Industrial Outside Storage properties. Bowie has worked directly with some of the most demanding national tenant partners in the country including Rolls Royce Aerospace, Honeywell, Dish Network, Sunbelt Rentals, REI, Starbucks and Walmart
Bowie is responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the $100+ million portfolio with an additional $40+ million of development in-progress. He oversees collaborations with a wide range of consultants, brokers and works directly with city staff on incentives and complex entitlements including zoning changes, platting and phased development.
Bowie holds a BS in Industrial Distribution and a Business Minor from the College of Engineering at Texas A & M University. He has deepened his industry knowledge by successfully completing the rigorous requirements of the Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation. He is committed to excellence and actively contributes to the commercial real estate community through chairing the Fort Worth Real Estate Council Government Committee, appointment to the Mayor’s Development Advisory Committee, and recently served as a Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation Board Fellow. He was recognized by the Fort Worth Business Press as a 40 Under 40 Honoree.
