Chad Gleason, CCIM, is Managing Director of Pentavirate, leading the firm's investment initiatives and operations across the globe. Chad works directly with private investors, investment banks, capital markets, mid-market investments and family offices to collaborate with the Pentavirate Real Estate Investment team on the optimal investment mechanism that supports the clients’ financial objectives, such as, Sukuk (Islamic bonds), private placement, and real estate funds. Previously, Chad headed SVNRaven Commercial Real Estate, a CRE development and consultancy firm based in Bellevue, Washington, and a member of the SVN Shared Value Network. In this role, Chad oversaw the training and development of the corporate real estate, office and industrial investment teams in the Seattle Metro area (Seattle, Bellevue, Everett and Tacoma Washington). He also led the creation of third-party real estate departments for sub-Fortune 500 companies with a focus on commercial real estate portfolio goals and optimizing value. Before this, Chad was responsible for regional and national-level tenant representation leasing programs and new construction/development at Retail Realty Services. . Among his most notable transactions was the successful disposition of a private $750M retail portfolio in 2007, involving the lease-up of distressed assets, navigating the Chapter 7 and 11 legal processes, and coordination with FDIC regulators. Chad holds the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation which is awarded to elite CRE professionals who complete 160 hours of coursework in advanced real estate finance and market analysis. Chad currently serves on the National Board of Directors for CCIM Institute and Chairs the Ward Center Subcommittee and was past Chair of the Government Affairs Committee. Chad also serves on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and the National Commercial Committee for NAR. Chad was named the 2018 Commercial Real Estate Broker of the Year by the Washington Association of Realtors. As past member of the Federal Policy Committee and Government Affairs, he has been involved in lobbying Congress for federal and state legislation, impacting the commercial real estate industry. He was the 2016 President of the Washington State Chapter of CCIM, encompassing the State of Washington, Northern Idaho, Alaska and Montana.
