Janice is principal of Synergy Commercial Properties, a full-service commercial real estate firm providing business development and commercial investment services for clients in the Carolinas. From acquisitions and dispositions to leasing of various property types including retail, industrial, land and office, Janice represents the interests of small landlord entities, major retail developers, national credit tenants and institutional clients. Her extensive real estate experience includes ground up development from site selection to leasing, grocery-anchored shopping centers and other mixed-use properties. With more than 40 years in the commercial real estate industry, Janice oversees the day to day operation of the firm, including property management, lease administration, accounting, marketing and asset management. Synergy Commercial Properties is a designated Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB). Providing the market intelligence and insight that her clients have come to trust, Janice uncovers opportunities that both solve problems and build long term wealth for entrepreneurs and small business owners. A Certified Commercial Investment Member Designee (CCIM) of the CCIM Institute, Janice has served on the national Designation Committee assisting candidates in securing their designation, and Chapter Activities Sub-Committee, the Global Institutes Marketing Committee and the Ward Center for Studies Sub Committee.

As an active member of the North Carolina CCIM state chapter, Janice served as Secretary (2020), Treasurer, (2021) Vice President (2022), NC CCIM Chapter President in 2023 and is the Immediate Past President of the NC CCIM Chapter for 2023. She has served on the NC CCIM Board of Directors and is Chair of the Membership Committee. Janice was one of twenty (20) Designees selected by the CCIM Institute to participate in the 2020 and subsequently graduate from the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy. Additionally, she is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR) and the Moore County Association of Realtors. Janice is a native North Carolinian, who enjoys water sports and golf and shooting. She lives in Pinehurst, North Carolina with her constant companion , Bailey, an Australian Labradoodle.
