Professional Profile
Chuck Connely is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Missouri – Kansas City Bloch School of Management and teaches real estate, finance and strategic management. He previously served as the Director of the Lewis White Real Estate Center at the University.
He served on the Board of Directors of the CCIM Institute from 2009-2020 and was elected seven times as its Treasurer. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the CCIM Kansas City Chapter and is a Past President. He won the Kansas City CCIM Chapter Home Run Award for Retail Projects and the CCIM Partner’s Retail Lease Transaction of the Year Award. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Rehabilitation Foundation.
He is a CCIM and CPM® and member of CCIM, IREM, BOMA and SIOR. He has previously held the CFP, Series 7 & 63 licenses.
He previously served as the Managing Director of EPR Financial Services (subsidiary of EPR Properties – public REIT); General Manager - Vice President of Butler Real Estate, a division of Butler Manufacturing Company; and as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the D.H. Pace Company, the parent of several Overhead Door franchises. He has over twenty years of investment banking experience where he previously served as Managing Director of KPMG LLP’s Corporate Finance Group and as Vice President of Corporate Finance with George K. Baum & Company.
He graduated with an MBA and BBA (with distinction) from the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking from Georgetown University. He served as a U.S. Army Ranger Instructor in the late 60"s.
