Professional Profile

Tim Hearn joined Transwestern Commercial Real Estate Services in 2021 in the company’s Baltimore, MD office with a focus on providing development and brokerage services for institutional and high net worth property owners in the Mid-Atlantic. Before Transwestern, he served as a Senior Managing Director for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in the Mid-Atlantic Investor Services Suite. Mr. Hearn’s leadership responsibilities included developing and executing the strategic plan for the property management group, which consisted of 300 property management, accounting, and building engineering professionals engaged at over 40 million square feet of commercial buildings in the region. This group was ranked #1 nationally within JLL for revenue, and #2 for net income, with several of its members receiving national recognition from the company and industry associations.

Mr. Hearn joined JLL as a component of the business sale of Colliers International-Baltimore to JLL in 2016. He was President and CEO of Colliers International-Baltimore, the market-leading real estate company in the region with 15 million square feet under management, and a brokerage group with average revenue of over $400,000 per associate. Business acquisitions completed during his leadership included KLNB Management (2002), Corridor Resnick (2009), Captain’s Cove Utility Company (2010), and Manekin Property Management (2013).

Mr. Hearn attended Brown University and Loyola University Maryland and received an AB degree. He is presently enrolled in the University of Maryland University College, Masters in Healthcare Administration (MHA) program.

From a civic leadership perspective, Mr. Hearn has been a Vice-Chair and member of the Board of Trustees of the Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Health System;  a trustee of the Friends School of Baltimore; a member of the President’s Advisory Committee for Stevenson University; and a Vice-Chair, and member of the Stella Maris Advisory Committee of Mercy Hospital of Baltimore. Mr. Hearn has also been a Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of the Maryland Hospital Association (MHA).In his role within these organizations, Mr. Hearn has chaired several capital campaigns, building, and finance committees and held leadership roles within these groups.
